What is Zakat and How to Calculate Zakat:

Zakat is very important pillar of Islam. the interpretation of Arabic word charity is 'purification' and 'growth'. we tend to purify our possessions by paying charity and that we ar endued with growth attributable to charity.

Zakat is calculated quantity of cash that a muslim is needed to pay to sure meriting cluster of individuals.

And there ar those that bury gold and silver and pay it not within the manner of Allah. announce unto them a most grievous penalty- 35:On the Day once heat are created out of that (wealth) within the hearth of Hell, and with it'll be branded their foreheads, their flanks, and their backs, their flanks, and their backs.- "This is that the (treasure) that ye buried for yourselves: style ye, then, the (treasures) ye buried!" (The Holy Qur'an 9:34-35). 

The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in one amongst the hadith said: "Any owner of gold and silver UN agency doesn't deliver from them their right, on the Day of Quiyamah (Day of Judgment), (the gold and silver) are formed as foils of fireside. Then it'll be heated within the hearth of Hell; (and) then with it he are smoothed on his facet, his forehead, and his back" (narrated by Muslim). 

A muslim is needed to pay charity once he/she has cash is equal or larger than nisab. The nisab or minimum quantity of cash is akin to value of eighty five grams of pure gold. 

Zakat is due once the passage of 1 year (approx. 355 days) of getting the possession of cash by the owner. Zakat is 2.5% or 1/40 of the money in possession of the owner. The owner ought to deduct the loans he or she has borrowed from others. Then check of the rest is equal or larger than the nisab, if thus then he or she ought to pay charity thereon. 

Every muslim ought to calculate and pay charity if it's due upon him or her.
