HOW TO MAKE BANANA CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST

INGREDIENTS


Makes 2 servings (Increase/Decrease). 
  • 1 large · banana, ripe
  • 2 large · large eggs
  • ½ cup · skim milk
  • ½ teaspoon · cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoon · margarine
  • 4 slice · bread
  • ½ cup · maple syrup, warmed

DIRECTIONS

  • 1 
    Blend first 4 ingredients until smooth, then transfer to 13" x 9" pan.
  • 2 
    Place bread in milk mixture and soak for about 20 minutes, or until liquid is absorbed, turning bread occasionally.
  • 3 
    Melt butter in large, heavy skillet, over medium heat. Add bread and cook until golden brown. About 3 minutes per side.

    Serve immediately with warmed maple syrup.
